Tired of that sponge laying on the counter? This holder will keep your sponge at the ready while collecting dripping water and speeding the drying process. Made from porcelain and thrown on the wheel this little dish is tapered slightly at the top and the slot for the sponge is about 1 inch wide.

Decorated with a hand drawn line pattern and glazed with a shiny smooth clear glaze. The design has been made using an inlay technique - the thin lines are drawn into the damp clay and black underglaze is brushed into the lines, the excess is wiped away to reveal thin black lines.

Glazed with a food safe glaze this pot is also safe for cleaning in the dishwasher, although we always recommend extra care when handling unique handmade items.
