At dusk in a little forest clearing a group of predators and prey come together to share a pot of tea. Some have been foraging, others sleeping, this is a sweet moment before the shift change when the foragers will curl up for sleep and the others begin their nocturnal hunt. For a moment they are equals, enjoying a fresh mug of tea, chatting, swapping stories, and enjoying each others company. An imagined scene, but oh, what if it could be true?

This little shadow box is made from porcelain and paper. The porcelain animals, tea set, and trees have details drawn with underglaze pencil and the stiff paper has been brushed with ink or has details drawn with a fine ink pen. Just imagine the stories that could be told from this image!
